Pin Trading Day – Sunday 6th April

Pin Trading fun at Get Ready Comics!

On Sunday, we had an amazing day pin trading at Get Ready Comics. This is a new collaboration brought to you by GRC and small business A Little Bit of Pixie Dust, run by Helen Valentine. The day started off strong with lots of people intrigued by the pin boards set up in the shop, having a look through the pins to trade and to purchase! The pin boards were all Disney pins ranging from open edition £10, £15 and £20 pins all the way up to rarer hard to find pins and Limited Edition pins from Disney parks all over the world. An exciting feast for the eyes!!

One of the most exciting parts of the day was seeing everyone else’s collections too! You knew when somebody brought out their pins as the staff at GRC were just as excited as us traders!! We had a real mix of pin traders from beginners with pins pinned to an insole as they didn’t have anything else (!) to seasoned pros with Pinfolios full of traders ready to go! The atmosphere was fantastic and it was so lovely to share the joy of pin trading with so many people of all ages! Lots of trades were made as well as purchases and it was such a fun day for all, so much so it is now going to be a regular feature at Get Ready Comics!
