Deadpool & Wolverine Fan Event – Paul

I was grateful to be invited to the event because of a love for cosplay & our growing relationship with Disney. As a long time Deadpool cosplayer, this was a very full circle moment and it felt right, in our nations capital, to give Deadpool a classic Disney look with Mary Poppins!

It’s finally time for Deadpool to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe and he’s bringing Wolverine (thanks to Disney!) along for the blood-soaked timeline-hopping ride.

At this Deadpool & Wolverine UK Sneak Peek Fan Event we were given a glimpse into the highly anticipated third movie.

The movie, sees the beloved characters team up for the first time as Deadpool and Wolverine, something that is sending fans wild with excitement.

The fan event was a chance to hear their story, meet the stars and of course, grab a selfie! (Yes that’s me as Mary Poppins Deadpool!

As we waited, we were in the background as Ryan, Hugh & director Shawn Levy were Interviewed by good Morning America, BBC London, ITV & more.

What was shown & who was there?
We were given a glimpse of the first 35 minutes of this HIGHLY anticipated movie!

Before the screening kicked off, Martin Kemp was brought in to DJ & then a battle of the bands between ‘Clawsome’ and ‘The Bloody Katanas’.

The cast and crew took to the stage, including Ryan and Hugh as well as Peggy the dog aka Dogpool also making a brief cameo at the event, Shawn Levy (director) Wendy Jacobson (producer) Emma Corrin (Cassandra Nova).

Finally, the sneak peek began, delivering a short but tantalisingly sweet 35-minute clip of Deadpool and Wolverine before a size reel of more to come.

In true Deadpool style, the opening credits feature Ryan’s familiar voiceover as he battles his current enemy in a bloody showdown with plenty of crude gags and a killer soundtrack.

It takes us back to how life is, after Deadpool 2. It pulls on the MCU heart strings. Shows us so many directions things could go. And gives us the Wolverine fans have only being dreaming of, until now.

There are no spoilers here, but let’s just say this movie will be FULL of surprises, cameos, incredible music, fun and HOLY F**K moments!

Deadpool and Wolverine will be released in UK theatres on July 25.
