Spoiler Free Review For – The Flash

“You wanna get nuts? Let’s get nuts.”

The Flash trailer promised, and the film certainly delivered. One of the best films to come from the DCEU – The Flash is fast-paced, quick-witted and action-packed ride that hits every emotion with full force.

The story is a beautiful tale of how Barry’s attempts to travel back in time to rewrite history to save his mother, but whilst doing so he creates a universe with no metahumans. The film explores the trauma Barry has developed through his childhood – and along with Michael Keaton’s Batman, there are some poignant moments throughout this film showing the vulnerability of these characters and the conflict they face. The introduction of Sasha Calle as Kara Zor-El is another highlight as they all unite to try and save the world.

Putting aside the controversies surrounding this film and Ezra Miller. Ezra’s performance in this film is fantastic. Along with Michael Keaton, there are several touching cameos that will please both casual and comic book fans.

The Flash is a brilliant effort from the DCEU.
