Pin Trading at Get Ready Comics

Pin trading has become one of our favourite community activities here at Get Ready Comics. Whether you’re a long‑time collector or completely new to the hobby, our pin trading boards and monthly events offer a fun, friendly way to discover new designs and meet fellow fans. This guide covers everything you need to know about how pin trading works in our store.

What Pins We Trade

To keep trading fair, consistent, and enjoyable for everyone, we only trade:

• Official Loungefly pins
• Official Disney Parks pins

These must be genuine, good‑condition pins with working backs. We don’t accept unbranded, fan‑made, or damaged pins for trading.

How Trading Works In‑Store

You can trade pins with us every day we’re open. Simply head to our dedicated trading boards, which are stocked with a mix of:

• Standard Loungefly designs
• Disney Parks releases
• Get Ready Comics Exclusive Loungefly pins
• Pins contributed by other collectors

Once you’ve found a pin you’d like, just make a one‑for‑one swap by placing your pin on the board and taking the one you’ve chosen. No cash, no value comparisons – just friendly trading.

Pin Trading Guidelines

To keep the experience fun for everyone, we ask traders to follow a few simple guidelines:

• Only trade official Loungefly or Disney Parks pins
• Pins must be in good, tradeable condition
• Swap one pin at a time
• Don’t remove multiple pins from the board
• Be respectful of other traders and staff
• Ask a team member if you’re unsure about anything

Monthly Pin Trading Events

Alongside everyday trading, we also host dedicated Pin Trading Events in association with A Little Bit of Pixie Dust.

These events generally take place on the last Sunday of every month and are a brilliant way to meet other collectors and enjoy a full day of pin‑themed fun. Depending on the month, you might find:

• Raffles or lucky dips with pin or Loungefly themed prizes
• Cosplayers joining the fun
• Free cupcakes for traders and visitors
• Exclusive pin drops

Every event is a little different, but they’re always friendly, relaxed, and full of surprises.
