Fulton Reed starts out as a bit of an outsider in The Mighty Ducks, he first meets the team when the Hawks corner and threaten them. Here he defends the Ducks’ players and beats up three Hawks’ players. He is later recruited by Coach Bombay after a slapshot by Reed hits the window of his van.
